Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information the FlovyVid app ("the app", "we") handles when you use it, and the choices you have. By using the app you agree to this policy.

1. Information stored on your device only

• Onboarding preferences (gender, age range, interests, categories) are saved locally on your device to personalize your experience. They are not uploaded to our servers.
• Downloads are saved to your device's public Movies folder (Movies/FlovyVid) so they appear in your Gallery and file manager. They stay on your device; we cannot see or access them.
• Bookmarks and browsing history from the in-app browser are stored locally on your device only.

2. Information collected by third-party services

The app uses the following services, which may collect data as described in their own privacy policies:

• Google AdMob — shows ads in the app. AdMob may collect your advertising ID, approximate location (country level), and device information to serve and measure ads. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Firebase Remote Config — delivers app configuration. It may collect device and usage information. See Firebase Privacy.
• Microsoft Clarity — helps us understand how the app is used by capturing usage behavior such as screens visited and interactions (sensitive content is masked). See Microsoft's Privacy Statement.

Where required (for example in the EEA/UK), we ask for your consent before showing personalized ads, using Google's consent framework (UMP). You can choose non-personalized ads.

3. Permissions the app uses

• Internet / network state — browsing, downloading, ads, and configuration.
• Notifications — download progress and completion alerts.
• Foreground service — keeps downloads running reliably.
• Storage (Android 9 and below only) — saves downloads to your public Movies folder.
• Uninstall requests — only when you long-press an app icon in the launcher and choose Uninstall; the system always asks you to confirm.

The app does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, SMS, or precise location.

4. Default home (launcher) role

You may optionally set the app as your device's default home app to enable launcher features. This is entirely your choice, can be reversed at any time in system settings (Settings → Apps → Default apps → Home app), and does not give us access to any additional personal data.

5. Downloads and copyright

The app is intended for downloading content you own or have permission to save. Downloading from certain platforms is blocked where their terms prohibit it. You are responsible for how you use downloaded content.

6. Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Data deletion

Because your preferences, downloads, bookmarks and history are stored only on your device, you can delete all of them at any time by clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app. To reset ad personalization, use your device's advertising ID settings.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the app with an updated date at the top of this page.
